The above home is a custom Heckaman modular with an attached garage which was built on site. The cantilevers were shipped as part of the home, slid into place and finished on site. Thus, the home was able to ship on only two carriers, saving freight and set expense. The porch was completely site built as well. The home is finished in Novabrik, a masonary product that is screwed to the front of the home … attaching to furring strips. It provides for a beautiful brick look without mortar joints and at reduced expense. This home is a 28 x 60 and sits on a full finished basement.

The archways between the living and dining/kitchen area were constructed on site and provide an open, airy and elegant feel. Off to the left you see the open staircase leading to the basement.
The kitchen cabinets are Merillat cherry, and the appliance package was a custom package purchased by the homeowner to meet their needs. This can be done with any home – and with any component of the home -- if the offerings of the manufacturer do not meet the customer’s needs.

The bathroom in this home is particularly impressive. It was essentially all completed on site. The shower is a walk through, 2 person shower done all in ceramic tile. The glass block window at the far right side of the home is actually in the shower providing natural light but also affording privacy for the user. The tub was purchased from a local supplier and installed and finished out in tile on site. It has a small recessed area over the tub finished in ceramic tile for placing candles for a soothing bath.
